Good afternoon Roger. I just wanted to let you know that it is really hard to see your blue print on your blog page. :). Moreover, your page image is awesome. what rock is this?
I changed the picture to ... me. The big rock is called "Chief Mountain". It is located on the northwest corner of the Blackfeet Reservation (near the Canadian border, going to Alberta). Legend has it that a young native went there to seek power and vision. He brought along a bison skull and smudged while he was up there. Turns out, climbers found a bison skulls up there over 20 years ago. The climbers said that this is a very technical climb, and couldn't fathom how somebody from many years ago could've made it up there without climbing gear.
